Campaigners
Adrian Ford
Adrian lives with his family in Bath Street in the centre of Bevois Ward. He runs a business in the city centre. He has lived and worked in Southampton for the past 20 years.
Adrian is campaigning for a cleaner, safer local environment and to retain vital public services.
He is a member of a school parents and teachers association and an active member of East Street traders Association.
His special interests are in education (especially reducing class sizes), cycling provision and the preservation of Southampton's heritage.
Bevois Focus
Ward Information
Bevois ward has the river to the east and neighbouring wards are Portswood, Freemantle and Bargate. It has a population of around 15,900. This is a ward of contrasts, with a mix of terraced houses, flats and the Royal Southampton Hospital to the west and tower blocks and light industrial areas in the east.
The ward is home to the largest number of black and ethnic businesses, communities and faith organisations within Southampton. Although there is limited open space, central parks are very close by.
