Eileen Bowers Eileen is a business woman and healthy living consultant working in the Woolston area and living locally.

She has experience chairing a residents' association.

Eileen's interest include healthy living, recycling and renewable energy.

She has been working with Lib Dem councillors Gerry Drake and John Slade and the Woolston Focus team.

Jane Foster

Jane Foster is a account manager for a large firm in the construction industry. She is a trained site manager with skills in project monitoring and control, managing the subcontractors, and managing the quality of the build.

She has naturally as taken a very keen interest in the Woolston development area on the former Vospers site, because of her profession. And she is a committed local campaigner in Woolston, who has become one of the leading campaigners to see a correct balance of family housing and workplaces on the former Vospers site

Woolston Focus

Ward Information

Woolston ward forms the southern edge of Southampton, and contains the community of Weston with Weston Shore to the south. It has a population of around 13,600 and neighbouring wards are Peartree and Sholing. The ward has many terraced houses as well as tower blocks. The centre of Woolston has a variety of local shops and the Millennium garden. In the south of Woolston is the wildlife haven known locally as Jurds Lake which leads up to Archery Recreation ground and then on to Mayfield Park. Weston shore itself has a pitch and putt golf course, a play park and large open green areas which attract people from all areas.
